Habil Kılıç was murdered on 29 August 2001 in the family’s fruit and vegetable shop in Munich. The 38-year-old father of one daughter had moved to Germany from Turkey as a young man and worked at the wholesale market hall. In his free time, he helped his wife at the shop.
